Holiday Greetings!

It’s officially the last month of 2020! For so many, this past year has brought numerous trials and setbacks. Isolation, quarantines, COVID, shut-downs, masks, & Zoom meetings have all become well-known realities within our homes. Church and Youth Group have been no exception to this scenario.

We’ve experienced these many frustrations and have done our best to adapt to the new “normal”. In light of everything we have all endured this year, I for one am relieved to welcome the holidays. It may not be the same, for there are sure to be sacrifices and changes to our usual celebrations but the one thing still remains. Our ability to celebrate and welcome our Savior into this world. We have the opportunity to rejoice in his birth & share that joy with others. And that’s just what we plan to do in YOUTH!

Last month we continued our in-person sessions and have enjoyed many nights with one another! We lent a helping hand with some of our church ministries and even gathered for a movie night topped with freshly popped popcorn! In the upcoming weeks, we look forward to decorating our church and participating in some Christmas fun! We will be hosting a special Youth Christmas party on December 20th from 6-8 pm. In addition to this event we will be participating in our church’s first-ever, LIVE NATIVITY on December 18th & 19th from 6-8 pm. We hope you will consider joining the Youth in participating in this event or perhaps make the drive out to see the beautiful scene come to life. We have a busy month with lots going on, but we are happy to be able to do so together. Continue to pray for our youth and their families as they adapt to ever-changing rules at school and for their safety this holiday season. May you all have a very merry and bright Christmas season!

Blessings,

Leslie & Michael
